We always like launching new feature enhancements that come from your requests, and today we wanted to share that you can now turn on/off the automatic Skilljar course registration emails for you and your users! 

Previously, when creating your training course on Skilljar, you could select to have course completions emails sent to you (as the instructor) and/or sent to your user; our registration notifications were automatically sent to both you and your user. Now, you can choose to have emails sent upon a user’s course registration or course completion!

This is especially useful if you are using marketing campaigns to send your own customized message when your users register or complete their courses.

The emails are automatically generated by Skilljar, but come from your Organization name and use your announcements email (click here to check your Org settings). See example emails below:

Where do I select this setting?

Go to Course Management, select your training course, scroll down to expand “Settings” and then scroll to the Email Notifications section:

Then, select the checkboxes for the emails you want sent and “Save.” The settings will be immediately applied.
