During July, we're excited to see that our visitors have grown from 100 to 147 countries! If you're curious, the United Nations currently has 193 member nations, which means that people from over three-quarters of the world are now using Everpath. The United States is home to 37% of our visitors, with India second (13%).

Last Saturday, Udacity hosted its 2nd Annual Global Meetup. Many attendees at the Seattle meetup had taken either CS101 or CS046 from Udacity. Both are great introduction to programming courses that are free, always available, don't require any prior experience, and can be taken at your own pace. The video curriculum was developed by university professors and the material covers the equivalent of an introductory college course.

Our goal is to provide some additional context about what each category means, as well recommend a few of our favorite courses on the right hand side.

 We're happy to announce that we've added 22 free courses from Modern Lessons, a newly launched online learning site. Modern Lessons offers introductory video courses about various technologies like Twitter, Wordpress, and 10 Free Web Tools to Make Your Own Infographics. The founders, Jeff Dunn and Katie Lepi, also run Edudemic, an online resource site for teachers interested in education technology.

Coursera announced yesterday that they've raised an additional $43M. Part of their focus going forward will be to bring Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) to the developing world. Coursera currently works with 83 universities (including Stanford and Yale) to offer free video lectures to anyone with an Internet connection. However, only 7% of their courses are offered in a non-English language.
