Integration enables companies using Skilljar and WebEx to create seamless live training experiences

Skilljar, a cloud-based learning management system (LMS) platform for enterprises and their customers, announced today that it has integrated with the WebEx online meeting, web conferencing and videoconferencing platform. The technology solution enables seamless integration of Skilljar’s fast-growing customer training solution with the WebEx suite of collaboration and conferencing applications.

Skilljar’s WebEx integration allows WebEx Account Administrators to create and manage live training events from the WebEx Training Center account within Skilljar. Learners can then register for these events, add them to their calendars, and launch them once the event has begun, right from their Skilljar Live Training lesson. Attendance for these sessions is automatically captured within the Skilljar admin dashboard, offering Skilljar customers a complete view of participation in live training courses.

“The Skilljar WebEx integration is going to improve our training program for both learners and instructors alike,” said Suzanne Ferry, VP Global Education at MapR. “The connection allows us to seamlessly transition customers from an online training course in Skilljar to virtual live sessions via WebEx, creating a better training experience overall.”

“We are thrilled to better serve our clients who rely on WebEx for live training sessions,” said Sandi Lin, co-founder and CEO, Skilljar. “This integration further extends our philosophy of enabling a seamlessly connected application ecosystem. We look forward to helping our clients better educate and train their customers, partners, and employees at scale.”
