Introducing Skilljar’s Zoom Integration: Create and Manage your Zoom Live Training Events Directly from Skilljar

When customer education teams design programs to successfully onboard, engage, and retain customers, they have three types of training to choose from: self-paced, online training; live, instructor-led training (in-person or virtual); or a blend of both self-paced and instructor-led training.

For virtual instructor-led training (also known as VILT), training teams often leverage the video conferencing solution utilized by the rest of their organization. This means that training specialists and students are forced to navigate back and forth between their video conferencing platform and their customer training platform or learning management system (LMS). Cumbersome learning experiences contribute to a lack of student retention and provide a broken experience for everyone involved.

With Skilljar’s new Zoom integration, both your students and training team will have a unified, seamless experience with virtual instructor-led training events hosted on Zoom. Customer students will enjoy the benefit of registering for and launching events directly from Skilljar. They’ll no longer have to use a variety of different logins.

For your team, setting up a live training event through Zoom Meetings or Webinar is a simple, one-time process directly in Skilljar. Once complete, all the relevant data like attendance and cancellations syncs reliably between Zoom and Skilljar behind the scenes. As a result, you and your training team are able to view a complete picture of your entire program, while saving time and focusing on delivering training experiences that drive positive results.
